Terms of Service

Our upgrade service will be provided for latest GOLD version of vBSEO available at the time of your purchase. The vBSEO Total Support team will ONLY attempt to correct issues sufficient to "complete your vBSEO upgrade". vBSEO MUST be INSTALLED AND RUNNING CORRECTLY prior to an upgrade. Otherwise, you will be required to purchase our installation service instead.

Your upgrade service does NOT include correcting any issues with your forum or server that are not directly related to the vBSEO upgrade.

The upgrade service covers upgrade of a SINGLE vBSEO license on a SINGLE server. At this time, we do not provide upgrade service for multiple server configurations.

Forums that have passed our Acceptable Usage Policy, but still contain some content deemed inappropriate by our staff, may experience a small delay in upgrade. We have a designated support team member who handles these upgrades exclusively.

If the VBSEO Total Support Team cannot (for any reason) complete your upgrade, you will be notified of the issue, and then refunded in full for your "Upgrade Service" only. Your previous version will then be re-installed.

If this occurs, the vBSEO Total Support Team will inform you of the reasons the upgrade could not be completed, along with any steps required for you correct any issues.

Professional vBSEO Upgrade Service

Service assured by the vBSEO Total Support Team This service is designed for non-technical forum owners who need assistance with their upgrade, or simply require an expedited upgrade to the latest vBSEO version.

To do so, you will need to provide us with access to your forum including (1) access to your Web Server via an FTP account and (2) access to your vBulletin Control Panel (admin account with product/plugin install privileges).

NOTE: The upgrade service is LIMITED to a *single vBSEO upgrade* ONLY. Upon completion of the upgrade, the vBSEO Total Support Team is NOT required to complete future upgrades, or changes to your vBSEO settings, forum or Web server set-up, or any other tasks requiring direct access to your forum. Further support will be provided as outlined here.

Upload and configuration of .htaccess file for latest version
Backup of vBSEO settings for current installation
Upload of vBSEO scripts for latest version
Import of vBSEO Product to vBulletin Control Panel for latest version
Restoring of previous vBSEO settings from backup
Configuration of new vBSEO features for the latest version
Basic upgrade troubleshooting

Upgrade to the latest version of the vBSEO Sitemap Generator
Basic forum setting check including:
1. Removing thread pruning so that all threads are visible to Search Engines.
2. Removal of "Powered by vBulletin" text from your title tags.

Time to Completion of Your Upgrade

A vBSEO Total Support Member will complete your upgrade as soon as your order is discovered. While we have support staff located in several different time zones, there may be periods when the support staff is not online.

While in many cases your upgrade may be completed in less than an hour from submitting your order, you may need to wait up to 24 hours to have a vBSEO Total Support Team member begin your upgrade.

Note: If you have any restrictions on the date/time of upgrade, please let us know in a support ticket when you submit your password information. We will do our best to comply with your schedule. However, please be aware that we do NOT cover all timezones.

If you request a time period for upgrade during which staff is not available, we will advise you of the closest available time for upgrade. If you do not provide information on when to complete your upgrade, the vBSEO Total Support Team will attempt to complete your upgrade as soon as your order is discovered and staff is available to begin.

Upgrade Cost

The cost of our upgrade service is a one time fee of $27.

Upon successful upgrade of vBSEO on your forum, this fee is non-refundable.
