Professional vBSEO Installation Service

This service is designed for non-technical forum owners who want to take advantage of the search engine optimization benefits provided by vBSEO, but who may lack the technical skills to complete the installation, or simply require an expedited install.

To do so, you will need to provide us with access to your forum including (1) access to your Web Server via an FTP account and (2) access to your vBulletin Control Panel (admin account with product/plugin install privileges).

NOTE: The installation service is LIMITED TO a *single vBSEO installation* ONLY. Upon completion of the install, the vBSEO Total Support Team is NOT required to complete future upgrades, or changes to your vBSEO settings, forum or Web server set-up, or any other tasks requiring direct access to your forum. Further support will be provided as outlined here.

Our Installation Service Includes:

1. Upload and configuration of .htaccess file
2. Upload of vBSEO scripts
3. Import of vBSEO Product to vBulletin Control Panel
4. Default configuration of vBSEO options
5. Basic installation troubleshooting
6. Moving .htaccess commands to httpd.conf (for dedicated servers only; requires extra access permissions)
7. Basic configuration of mod_rewrite or ISAPI_Rewrite (where possible only)

Extras:

• Set-up and configuration of the vBSEO Sitemap Generator
• Set-up of Relevant Replacements on your forum.
• URL Canonicalization (URL Consolidation) settings including:
  1. Activating vBSEO's Homepage Aliases feature - Will 301 redirect homepage URL variations (i.e /index.php, /index.php?) to the root directory.
  2. Setting .htaccess (or httpd.conf) rules to 301 redirect all non-www type URLs to www type URLs or vice-versa.
• Basic forum setting check including:
  1. Removing thread pruning so that all threads are visible to Search Engines.
  2. Removal of "Powered by vBulletin" text from your title tags.

NOTE: Relevant Replacements are provided in a single format ONLY. The format provided is the same as those configured at the vBSEO.com Forums.

There must be suitable space within your template for placement. Otherwise, this extra cannot be completed by the team. The vBSEO Total Support Team is NOT required to complete formatting or aesthetic changes to the basic format. This feature is optional.

Time to Completion of Your Installation

A vBSEO Total Support Member will complete your installation as soon as your order is discovered. While we have support staff located in several different time zones, there may be periods when the support staff is not online.

While in many cases your install may be completed in less than an hour from submitting your order, you may need to wait up to 24 hours to have a vBSEO Total Support Team member begin your installation.

Note: If you have any restrictions on the date/time of installation, please let us know in a support ticket when you submit your password information. We will do our best to comply with your schedule. However, please be aware that we do NOT cover all timezones.

If you request a time period for installation during which staff is not available, we will advise you of the closest available time for installation. If you do not provide information on when to complete your installation, the vBSEO Total Support Team will attempt to complete your installation as soon as your order is discovered and staff is available to begin.

Installation Cost

The cost of our installation service is a one time fee of $79.

Upon successful installation of vBSEO on your forum, this fee is non-refundable.
