Where does it end?
The latest boost (March 12th is partial day) is because I installed the vBSEO skin last weekend and started using relevant replacements.

Can't believe just a month ago there was a day with less than 500 visitors.. now I am getting that many in peak hours!

Maybe I will be getting 10,000 visitors per day soon! Then 100,000. A trillion.

To tell the whole story, I've been running vBSEO on that board since the middle of 2006, but I do credit vBSEO regarding some changes I made in the middle of last month (as well as the Relevant Replacements I just implemented) for the recent success... I now manage three vBulletin forums, all with vBSEO. Upgrading to the Sitemap Generator 2.1 might also have something to do with it, not sure since I did it at the same time as implementing the skin and Relevant Replacements.

Hehe, well you know the ebb and flow, I picked a good time period to post on here, and especially wanted to share the results above of the last couple days... my guess is that relevant replacements really helps, but don't tell anybody else .

Or it could be the sitemap generator 2.1 ---- do you know anything definite about that and Yahoo? It seems I am getting crawled like hell from yahoo after installing that, but I don't know for sure...

Yahoo's crawl bot is odd, it pretty much goes outta control from time to time.

I'd contribute the success to switching skins, and adding relevant replacements to your pages to increase the on page keyword ratio stuff that helps improve rankings
