VBSEO is A RIP OFF!!!

i spent over 150 dollars for some script that brings pages that do not work and besides that when it was working it didnt do anything but put some icons on it and linkbacks which i did not see improvements on spiders or anything for this kind of money your better off going and buying vbpostprogallery and probably get more hits on that!!! im very frustrated with this product and i wish i could return it i feel that i got ripped off...

it would bring up pages like this as not found!! if someone could fix this it would be wonderful but in the meantime im not too happy...

It would appear as if the vBSEO product is either not installed or your vB plugin system is not enabled. You might want to double-check those.

You also may want to upgrade to vBSEO 3.2.0 . I also suggest you to move your CSS into file.
Another key point is you have most of your tutorials in pictures and those pictures donot even have alt tags defined.

1. Moving the CSS Rules to an external file will reduce the page's size, and also SE bots would have to crawl through much less coding before getting to the actual page's content. You can change the option in your AdminCP.

AdminCP -> vBulletin Options -> Style & Language Settings -> Store CSS Stylesheets as Files? -> Yes

4. Lessen the use of meta keywords. You currently have too many keywords in meta tag:

5. Convert your top Forum navigation links to text-based, instead of image-based.
Or if you really want to keep them as images, then at least provide an "alt" or "title" attribute for each.

You can't please everyone.

Some people just get cranky and complain instead of admiting that they don't 100% know what they are doing and ask for help.

Sounds like a case of someone that is impatient and expecting the world on a silver platter to me.

Took me all of 30 minutes to install vBSEO on both of my forums, and I'm a newbie. Since I've managed to nearly triple my Google hits.

vBSEO is not some magical software that is going to produce noticable changes over night just by installing it. It takes time to go over the configuration options and time for indexing to take place.

Definatly should open a support ticket and let the staff have a good look at any of the issues you have I am sure it is something that they could fix relatively quickly.

I agree... £75 (in the UK) for a piece of software that has produced near on 9k of hits a day for us, which in turn pays our server bills of £245 ish per month (and funds all of our improvements) is a complete rip off.

It should be at least £200 to buy vBSEO, if setup properly, you don't have to do a sausage.

Please meet vBSEO half way, and at least RTFM and set your forum up properly. Then once you have, slither back on here, and say, 'VBSEO - I messed up, now I am making money' as the thread title.

I bet you moan when you don't win the lottery every week as well, even though you ain't bought a ticket.
