Love what VBSEO can do (love everything about it), hate the stress it puts on my vps. Now, I have to uninstall. Really blows. :( Have VBA and VBA photopost. Have Eaccellerator and Zend running. Hate that I am starting over in search engines now. Not planning on going dedicated. My host is no help. Unless there is anyone that can give me a tip it's a goner :( |

| Re: Uninstalled
Server fluctuates from 1-6 with page load times the real killer. It was much better on a shared with a better machine, but when I went to vps, it couldn't handle it. Switched to vps to keep in my own enviornment. |

I am on a VPS and was featured on netscape.com which sent me to almost over 1,000 guests online and my server loads never reached higher than 4 with VBSEO. Something else is wrong with your server |

| Re: Uninstalled
I agree, but my host can't or won't find it, and disabling vbseo is the only thing that gives me relief.

Surpasshosting. I really do not believe it is a fault of VBSEO. I believe VPS just does not offer the performance that the software needs. |

If I changed hosts again, my members would kill me. This is what I got into: * Equal Share CPU [More Info] * 20 GB Space * 500 GB Bandwidth * 2 Static IP Addresses * 512 MB RAM * 2048 MB RAM Burst * 100% Managed * cPanel/WHM Included |

I dont know man. I do know if my hosting company was causing me to not use VBSEO I would be switching asap. No telling what else is going to happen if they arent willing to help fix that.

| Re: Uninstalled Yer right. Let me see what else I can do. I will reinstall and go from there. I have invested a year in vbseo and it would be a shame to lose what it has done so far.

| Re: Uninstalled
I am on Servint as well with 3 forums, all using vbseo. I have hit times with over 8,000 unique visits per day and dont even register much more than 0.25 with my server load. One of my three sites hase a very busy static site that is part of it. All three are listed in my signature. I would re-evaluate your server host of choice before dropping the SEO benefits of vbseo. |

| Re: Uninstalled
you should be able to move to a new server with next to no downtime. buy the new server before you cancel the old one. copy scripts. some night late at night, turn off the forum. make a backup/SSH it over to the new server. on your old server, change "localhost" to the IP turn the forums back on in both places. if the DNS hasn't propigated yet, it doesn't matter--- they will still be hitting the new database server. and yes, a server company can eat it before i'd toss vbseo! I've increased my earnings 5x, and traffic 8times in the past month. |
