Hi PEEEPS.

Have had vbSEO Installed for 6 days. Sorry I didn't get any pre-install numbers. One thing to note is that I recently opened the forum for guests to view.

Prior to vBseo insalled(all disabled now):
  • guests could only view thread titles and not content.
  • propietary SEO installed
  • propietary sitemap installed
I also have the sitemap generator installed

Forum Online Aug 2003 (phpbb then vB 4 months after)
Total Threads: 41,142
Total Posts: 609,389
Total Members: 36,317

How does this look so far?

Google:
Results 1 - 10 of about 428,000 from makeuptalk.com for . (0.19 seconds)

Yahoo:
Pages 1 - 50 of about 71,571 - 0.94 sec. from makeuptalk.com

MSN:
site:makeuptalk.com Page 1 of 259 results from makeuptalk.com

What the heck happened with my google page numbers???? Down from 512,000 to 838??

The site:domain.com search isn't accurate, so you can't rely on those numbers. Keep an eye on your search engine referrals (using something like Google Analytics) to gauge your progress.

Example: One of my old sites only has ~500k URLs in the sitemap file, yet Google was showing it with 10 MILLION results:
