Site report - Jeepz.com

I've finished installing vbseo on my Jeepz.com - The ultimate Jeep and offroad website, and wanted to start a thread to see my progress. I also edited the htaccess to redirect jeepz.com to Jeepz.com - The ultimate Jeep and offroad website (I have links in search engines for both).

Day after install (12/18/2007):

site:jeepz.com

google - 36,500
site:jeepz.com - Google Search
yahoo - 84,100
Yahoo! Site Explorer
msn - 268
Live Search: site:jeepz.com
ask - 0
site:jeepz.com - Ask.com Web Search

According to Alexa, my traffic rank is around 2,400,000 or so

I'll update this as we go on

OK, updating for Jan 20th:

google - 36,100
yahoo - 104,000
msn - 236
ask - 0

Alexa has my traffic rank as 932,612

I"ve seen a large spike in traffic lately. I'm not sure if that's due to vbseo, or the new content I've been adding, but I think thave vbseo is at least partly the reason:

Well, vBSEO is optimizing all of your new content (if it's a part of the forum), so it helps. However, one way to get a better idea is to check the keywords that are referring your traffic. If there seems to be a greater number of different keywords, or the keywords you already ranked for are now seeing greater traffic volumes, then this is the work of vBSEO. Congratulations on your traffic spike.

I've never really tracked key words, but I seem to have tons of crazy ones. 3 of my top 10 keywords are the usernames of my members..

I'm thinking that's a good think, since I'm getting more traffic than ever.

Are your registrations, posting, online users count, and ad revenue seeing an increase with the new traffic?

I guess overall (since install) there hasn't been too much change. I've been adding new content, and I paid for an inclusion into the yahoo directory, but the number of pages I have listed in google seem to be slipping, and my ask is still at 0. On the plus side, my MSN has gone up.

google - 27,100 A drop of 9,400 overall
site:jeepz.com - Google Search
yahoo - 108,907 Up 24807
Yahoo! Site Explorer
msn - 1,320 Up 1052
Live Search: site:jeepz.com
ask - 0 no change
site:jeepz.com - Ask.com Web Search
