Report for www.stopmomstop.com

I think this situation is a little bit different than most people, but it should still be interesting.

We didn't start out with an existing community, but rather, we started fresh. I wanted vbSEO from the get go, because I didn't want to be in a situation where I needed it down the road.

Our forum started out entirely grass roots, and we've done almost zero promotion at this point. The community is hopping at this point, 1 year into it, with the following stats showing on my home page:

Threads: 8,901, Posts: 100,818, Members: 131

Although, we do have a private area which I believe is included in those totals.

I added vbseositemap a while back, but turned it off because I was a little unsure about whether or not to ping google. I turned it on again yesterday.

Currently we have 17,000 pages indexed in google, though I swear that number yesterday was just over 1,600. Regardless, at this point we get very little in the way of google referrals. Since we've done very little promotion, we have very few inbound links. I certainly wouldn't expect vbseo to bring in the traffic all by itself.

I'll continue to update the thread with how things move along once a month for the next year. Hopefully, we'll be seeing some big changes.

nevetS, nice to see you here. That's a lot of posts for so few members. Must be a pretty active group!

Your member count seems a bit low compared with you posting.

You should submit your site for a critique. We might be able to suggest some improvements for you.
