I'am the Admin of Player-Art.com is a site with a gfx community forum, we offer tutorials, resources, wallpapers, signatures and much more, we're looking for new members and staff.

About 20 days ago I installed vBSEO and Sitemap 1.7, but am not having the results hoped ...

Before the vBSEO:

Google: 175 Index Pages
MSN: 30 Index Pages
Yahoo: 140 Index Pages


PR: 0

Now, after more than 20 days I have had these increases, but I was hoping in something more

Google: 774
MSN: 97
Yahoo: 484 inlinks: 2,509

PR: 0

20 days is a very short timeframe in terms of SEO. Be patient. It's a good sign that your indexing has accelerated. I'm sure you will see better results in the coming months.

I think people expect instant success. Your indexing is increasing and that can only be a good thing and it proves that vbseo is working. slowly but surely. Its best to compared results month to month.

I see you don't have many backlinks to your forum directory. Try other link building strategies that will promote a higher PR for deeper crawls. In the meantime, also work on building great content by keeping your members as active as possible. Good luck!

Now, after more than 1 month and 16 days I have had these increases and also i have increased the PR, I'm very happy with google, i hope to increase also with yahoo and msn.

MSN: 73 :(

Yahoo: 508 inlinks: 1,003 :(

I have to agree with you there Joe, our forums are 9 months old, we installed vBSEO on 21st December 2006, and only now approx 5 months later are we reaping the benefits. Every site is different and its a waiting game. Or until Google and the other search engines get their backsides into gear.

Now, after 2 months, I'm very happy with google, instead with yahoo and msn the results is not those hoped.

MSN: 63 decrease?? :(

Yahoo: 497 inlinks: 966 decrease?? :(

maybe someone have some suggestions to improve yet?

Website receives about 650/800 unique visitors a day now, and 1,253.65 Visits / Day for all visitors.

Direct traffic: 45.86%

Referring Sites: 19.59%

Search Engines: 34.55%

Is that better than before or worse?

Sure is better but when i have installed vbseo the community was online from about two months...

Ours was online for about 3 months before we had vBSEO installed, and yesterday we were nearly 500% up on visitors for the same day last year.

Looking at your forum, the biggest thing that puts me off is all the private forums that you have, and that I cannot see the content.

I would either open them up to guests and then these would be indexed as well, or hide them from view, if you are not logged in.

Also make sure you friendly spam your site. A good way to do this is to sign up to similar forums and put a link in your signature. Make sure that you post useful posts that are helpful on these forums otherwise you would probably get banned for spamming.

These are the latest figures from Google Analytics for the last month. As you can see the search engines are now doing all the work for us Thanks to vBSEO.
