Ongoing Report:Tech Support Team - Continued

This is a continued thread of this thread for my sites ongoing report: Ongoing report: techsupportteam.org

Ok, so here is an update:

I'm using the site:yourdomain.com query

Google: 9,120 (Previously 4,480)
Yahoo: 3,635 (Previously 605)

As you see, indexed pages look to be on the way backup.

Only seen a few new members in the past few days, however. Seems to be around 25-40 guests on at any one time.

I want to start building some links, but being new in this area I need some help. Joe kindly give me this link: 101 Link Building Tips to Market Your Website : SEO Book.com

However, I don't fully understand some things, such as a "101" list -- what exactly is this? Can someone give me tips on link building in a simple form?

I really hope I start to see some more activity soon, especially after I just released my new style (work in progress): Tech Support Team - Providing free computer help & support

Finally, I have attached some screenshots from my Google webmasters account. The graphs in my Google Analytics account fluctuate, and seem to be ok. Probably 100 visits a day from google.

That was a bit of a joke his was making. He means if you build a list of "101 things...", "top 10", "top 5 reasons to...", etc., that type of content usually turns out to be pretty popular if it's well thought out. It's can interesting way to get attention and even *links* back to your site.

Ah, right.

I've added a link to my site on a few sites I frequently visit, but I add keywords, such as "Free computer help" or "Free computer support". Hopefully, that will allow me to build more keywords, thus more incoming traffic.

I've tried my damned hardest to get more incoming traffic, and thanks to vBSEO and some hard work, more and more members are signing up, and more guests on the site. I would still like it even busier, even though it will mean more money. The bad thing for me is, I cannot get back into Adsense, so I'm trying other alternatives. I've been accepted into EchoTopic in-text advertising, just waiting for the tags, and I also think I'll be going with Trible Fusion banners. Also, I'm going into the Royal Navy pretty soon, so it'll be hard for me to keep SEO going up, so I'm hoping by then that it won't *need* as much work hehe.

Any more tips, Joe?

Oh, and how would I find the PR of my site?

If you want to get your Google PR, you need to install the Google toolbar into your browser.

You might want to try targeting some other types of less competitive keywords as well.

I have that installed. I remember seeing PR before, can't seem to see it now...

I've been doin' that, Joe. So far, after a few months with vBSEO installed, I'm still not seeing any *real* traffic.

You are still getting about 100 a day?

Have you been doing some active link building, or building valuable new content?

Did you go through this complete checklist?

I've got quite a few Tutorials done -- just finishing the page off them opening that section up. I haven't really invested into trading links, however.

You might want to convert your welcome message to an image, or get rid of it. You could also experiment with our Relevant Phrases feature.

Yeah, going to turn that into an image soon, and also the copyright footer.

Been quiet the past few weeks... maybe around five new members.

PageRank is 3/10. Been running vBulletin since end of December.

LOL, yeah its a nice style. And thanks.

Oh, the many NEW members aren't down to vBSEO. When you know a few people on the net, it leads to many more. They love the site too. Had over 50 new members in a day -- woo! Hopefully, now I've got a more 'active' board, vBSEO can help more!

Why are index urls dropping again?

Google: 6,430
Yahoo: 5,016
(This is the only one that has gone up).

PS: Why does my ticket keep getting closed here without a response? Strange, if you ask me. Ticket id: 9582

^^^^^ decrease in index stats isn't always a bad thing. Google sometimes cleans out duplicates and other things not needed.

If your traffic is increasing or steady then you shouldn't be worried.

my indexed stats been dropping for the last month but my traffic is increasing.

Again don't be worried if your traffic is not dropping. Be happy VBSEO is helping you remove dups

That's the problem, I aren't really seeing any "real" traffic. Other forums I go on always have around 500+ guests on. Mine always has 20-30, and around 2-3 members every few days or so...
