Mudbog.net

After purchasing my 2nd license last week, I could no longer sit here worrying that if the software does show to provide alot of help to my other two forums, that this one would be left behind. This forum is openened toward the end of January 2006. Rankings are best on MSN and Yahoo, and I think I am currently sandboxed by google. I am currently down to showing 1-1 of 5 pages on google. Yesterday I showed 2 pages total. Google was showing approximatly 500 until about a week ago. Anyway, here is my beginning stats.

google - 5 pages
MSN - 543 pages
Yahoo - 394 pages

Search engine traffic
(April)
Google - 765
MSN - 439
Yahoo - 101

(May)
Google - 370
MSN - 578
Yahoo - 131

Most of May's google traffic came in the beginning of the month. Getting nothing from them right now, however overall traffic hasnt taken a hit.

Installed vBseo about 30 minutes ago.

Re: mudbog.net

As of today

google - 549 pages, 4 vbseo. For the past couple weeks, I have only been showing 4 total pages in google, and getting absolutely no traffic from google. Very happy to see this.

MSN - 193 pages, quite a drop from last check. 79 vbseo pages showing

Yahoo - 432 pages indexed, 79 vbseo'd

Overall, happy to see these results, considering what I have been getting for the last month.

Re: mudbog.net

update for google:

681 pages indexed, 151 vbseo'd pages.

Very happy to see this. Google had virtually buried this site and I was getting 0 traffic from google. Not an exaggeration. zero referrals from google. Now, google is my largest search engine referrer.

Interesting note - My wife is creating threads for new ATV models and putting the exact model names for these ATV's as the thread title. Some of these are reaching as high as #2 on google for these bike models and the traffic has been a blessing.

Results 1 - 10 of about 42,700 from mudbog.net

Results 1 - 10 of about 721 from mudbog.net for vbseo

5,000 posts on this forum, so the amount of indexed pages baffles me. Traffic has make a huge jump, however which I am not going to complain about.

2200 hits via google already this month. This is quickly becoming the favorite of my four forums. Many thanks to my wife for being a very good administrator and content builder for this forum as I have had little time to interact with the forum members.

The indexed page stats I am just posting for reference, really not going to read anthing into them as they change drastically on what seems to be a daily basis. I have been patiently waiting for them to level off so I could post and update, but that obviously isn't going to happen. I do have referral stats for the big 3 here, ranging from my vbseo install date up through today.

This site is proof that google loves rewritten URL's because I simply cannot get ranked by google for specific keywords, while I am consistantly in the top 10 for keywords I track on the three main search engines.

Just recently passed 10,000 posts, closing in quickly on 11,000. Also eclipsed the 500 member mark.

4780 pages indexed in google.

Traffic from google was doing well, however, I am going to be dealing with a drop for a while as I restructured the URL's, taking out the keywords from the threads. I found myself wanting to change some forum titles and realized that I was going to have to deal with that problem in the future as well, so it was a good time to make one final url change so I can change things like that without a problem.

Got an immediate drop in traffic, but the new URL's seem to be indexing quickly, and traffic is back up on the rise rather quickly as well.

New design coming for the site very soon (I hope). Been waiting 6 weeks for it now.

New design is live, has been for a few weeks now. Just under 9,000 pages indexed in google.

Traffic took a dip last week, but appears to have recovered. Not getting huge traffic numbers, but the traffic converts to new registrations very well, and the guest traffic are very busy ad clickers, which is great.

Getting a minimum of 3 new members everyday, and as many as 15 per day. On average for December, the new registrations per day is about 6.
