Like my vBSEO case study on GamingVidz.com, I'll be doing updates for vBSEO on HaloBoards.com.

Read the starting post here. I posted a google analytics graph of where my traffic comes from and I'm hoping there will be an increase in the pie graph from Google etc.

Week two is now up and as you can see I had a pretty big jump with Google ending the week with a 684 jump in results using a site:haloboards.com search.

This is Amazing

site:haloboards.com (Google) up 684 to 6,860
site:haloboards.com (Yahoo) up 96 to 10,605

Do you have any special tricks or methods?

Well, I have the sitemap plugin installed as well and I also submitted my sitemap url's to google and yahoo and set them to create new sitemaps every morning at 2 AM and auto notify them.

I don't think those are really tricks, rather I just made sure to take care of all the bases

Check out these insane numbers for Google this week:

site:haloboards.com Google Search up 17,100 to 28,400!

This one week increase accounts for nearly three times more search engine results than the site ever accumated naturally for the 8 months the site was open before enlisting the help of vBSEO.

I was actually wondering to see what portion of success can be attributed to the free sitemap tool, as opposed to both together. Reason I ask is because this is what I've done and I'll be able to have metrics sooner than later which I hope to be able to compare against other case studies.
