Hmmm. We often blame Google testing and changes to the various data centers for the fluctuations we see in the SERPs. And, obviously, this is the primary reason.

However, it is also *possible* that (as a part of Google's SERP algorithm) they actually cycle different pages to higher positions within the SERPs in order to monitor clickthrough/length of visit statistics.

Using the Google toolbar, this could be achieved in order to determine the quality of SERPs (and make adjustments) based on the usage statistics that are recorded for each keyword phrase.

Although I haven't thought about all the implications of doing so, I'm not entirely opposed to such a scenario if the outcome leads to more relevant, non-spam, SERPs.

Also, Google has jumped up its indexing of my site as of yesterday, after 1.5 months of next to nothing. 17k pages indexed yesterday, and already hitting it hard today too.

Yep, something is definately up. Already over 13k pages indexed today (3 hours into the day).

Adsense for today is up also...

Could this be the beginning of the rebirth? We'll see...

April: 25,162
May: 49,179

August: 4,016 (As of August 11th.)

lol, my referrals are down a little but my indexed pages just dropped from 40k to 8k.

No, I meant indexed pages in google (nonvbseo and vbseo'ed)

It was 400k plus in June (all vBSEO'd).

Then it dropped to less than 10k on June 22nd.

Then went back up to 69,800 where it has held steady since late June. The problem is, the majority of those 69,800 were supplemental and old URLs.

It must be a fluke. We are showing 8.5K on vbseo.com too.

I dropped hard last week from over a million to 171k currently. What's odd is that my traffic has been steady...
