Ive decided to join in and provide an ongoing analysis of my forum.

So far its been 1 month since i upgraded to vBulletin and vBSEO.

I also started aggressive link building at this time. Lots of PR7s and below and a few PR8s.

My whole site is now indexed in Google all 13k pages.

It was 500 pages before with phpBB.

After the initial period there was a big drop, but the last few days have been very good, 600 today with a good few hours to go.

We are expecting 1k daily referrals from Google by the end of the week.

With phpBB before we were getting maybe 10.

Google referrals are as follows:

Now upto 1500+ uniques daily from Google.

17k indexed pages.

Adsense upto $30 a day.

Great to know that the number of pages indexed increased greatly.

By the way, what is the difference in page view before and after the installation of vbseo ?

Page views went up from 500 to 7k.

Up to 2k Google daily referrals and $35+ a day with Adsense, will post some more Google graphs in a week or so, traffic is still going up.

Not so good now, my site has been getting a few hundred referrals a day.

Despite having some very good, related and high PR incoming links.

It's been very bad for almost 5 weeks.

Almost all my site is in the supplemental index, even the articles written by me which are rich, helpful and unique.

Am right back where I started 3 months ago.

Just don't understand this.

Nothing I do works for my site for very long, its always short lived.

Would changing the setting in vB to Store CSS Stylesheets as Files cause the site to be re-indexed?

The reason i ask is the most recent indexed pages in Googles cache show a forum page that displays properly.

The older cached pages and the ones in supplemental index display with no template, just text on a page.

I'm thinking that because i enabled this in the last month Google now sees all the pages as new and thus is dropping the old ones or sending them to supps and re-indexing...

Dunno, what do you think?
