zend or iconcube?

i am not sure if this question was asaked b4.
But when the test script was run...it showed the following.

Zend OptimizerNo It appears you are running an older version of zend optimizer. In order this software to work correctly your server will need zend optimizer 2.5+. IoncubeYes
Congratulations! The software should install on your server with no server changes needed.
You should download and install the Zend Encoded version of the software

This is confusing coz it said the zend version is not compatibel but in the end its asking me to install zend version.

Please clarify!

Re: zend or iconcube?

It seems like you do have the Zend Optimizer installed but it's an older version than required. Try installing the ionCube version (upload the ioncube runtime loaders too).

They both perform as well in our tests. It's a matter of preference (and availability within your hosting service), we are currently using Zend in vBSEO.com but have used ionCube and plan to alternate both in the future, just for the kicks
