    Zend 3.2.x Incompatibility

My host has recently upgraded their Zend version and now my vbseo dosn't work. All sorts of wierd stuff happens like parts of the vbseocp appearing on the forum, and not being able to access posts. I've had to disable vbseo through vbulletin as I can't access the vbseocp.

Here is a screenshot of what I see on my vbseocp:

    Hope you can help

It happened again to me today. I made a minor change in my vbseocp and then it messed up. This must be a bug or incompatibility?

It was just the permalink settings. But the has happened before (see first post) without me doing anything.

Are you able to reproduce the issue consistently? If yes, please open a support ticket so that we can check that further.

It isn't zend 3.2 causing your issue, as I am running vbseo on a server that has had zend 3.2 installed for months (since December of last year) without a single problem.

I think you have something else going on...

Ok whatever it is, i've managed to duplicate the error twice.

I'll open a support ticket soon.

That error looks to me like one of the files is corrupt in your vbseo upload. Either it did not fully upload or you are low on drive space on your account. I am just trying to come up with ideas for you.

The problem in that error message looks to me like a constant is not getting defined properly in vbseocp.php either because the file is corrupt or truncated.

It is pretty strange though, as I have been running rc8 and have never seen it. If you provide exactly how you reproduce it, I will see if I can get it to occur on my site...

Just an update on this, even though a support ticket was setup, FTP/admin access given this problem was still not resolved. Apparently there will be a "fix" in the next version which will be out in a couple of days.

Well...I'll be looking foward to september before my vbseo works again

Is there an explanation what the problem is and why it affects some but not others? It would be nice to hear what the problem actually is and if we all need to be on the lookout for it.

The problem is that no one could find out what specifically was the problem. I would make a change in the vbseocp.php file and then config_vbseo.php would delete iteself.

I'm not sure if this is a server problem or a vbseo problem but i've recently moved server within the same hosting company and the problem persits.

I only ask because apparently the vbseo team said there would be a fix for whatever the issue is (according to your previous post MaestroX).

So how about it vbseo team, I am just curious as to what would cause such an issue.

The nature of this bug is still unclear, but we've implemented an additional function check before saving the options to make sure that config file will not be emptied.
