Wrong meta description in Google?

Hi all,

When I search for fly fishing it shows my site at the top of the list, but the description is all wrong. It's fetching the footer begining with Search Engine Optimization by vBSEO. I know it's incredible enough to have it there and already indexed as vBSEO was installed 12 hours ago, but I wonder if I did something wrong at the vBSEO CP configuration.

Any thoughts?

Google only uses meta descriptions when you search for an exact .com. What you are seeing is actual page text.

I would suggest adding some H1's to your templates to ephasis your keywords in more important areas.

Uh... one problem thou. Will RR show on my main forum page? Or only if I place them in the show groups and show threads templates like I'm using them.

It will only show on the areas you define the rule and use it in the template.
