The title extraction process was improved in the new developepment vBSEO build, it is likely that it will work correctly for you with vBSEO3.2.0 when it's released.

Hello,

make sure that you have VBSEO_RECODE_TITLES option enabled in config_vbseo.php file and your server supports mb_string extension for PHP (it's required for charset detection).

I see an '--enable-mbstring=shared' in my phpinfo() configure output and VBSEO_RECODE_TITLES is set to '1'

Is that correct or am I missing something?

What do you have displayed below in phpinfo() in "mbstring" section?
