    Getting this error...

Fatal error: Unable to read 25205 bytes in /home/jabberbo/public_html/jabber/vbseo.php on line 0

I just uploaded the vBSEO files in Binary mode, twice, to the forum root. I get that error when I go to the site now. I can't get to the AdminCP.

    What do I do?

That's caused by not uploading the files in BINARY mode. Make sure you force your ftp client to use BINARY mode.

(You can remove all vBSEO files to be able to access your site again.)

Yep, it was set to Binary mode... when I open the file offline, on my PC, in wordpad, all the text is jumbled.... I'm downloading the zip again.

Some FTP clients may have several places that you need to check to make sure it's forced to BINARY. I use FTP Voyager - FTP Client Software for Secure Internet File Transfers and it works correctly every time when set to "Auto" mode. No need to force it.

Should the text in the .php files look like this after I just download the .zip and extract everything?

I just FlashFXP, never had a problem with switching between Ascii, Binary and Auto.

Yes, that's how it should look. It's a binary file.

I have heard of others having the same issue with FlashFXP, so that's probably your issue.

I'll have to download a trial version of FlashFXP and see if I can find out why it has a problem detecting. I'm pretty sure it's the only one we've heard of that has had a problem with it.

Yea, please do. FlashFXP is great... when you're not trying to upload in Binary format apparently

Yup, that was the problem... everything works after uploading with Voyager.
