When clicking certain subforums it brings me back to the forum home page

Example:

GamingVidz.com

Go to my forum and click the second forum down the list titled:

"Hosted Vidz" If you click it, it just goes back to the forum. Any ideas?

do you have any custom re-write rules in place?

also, are you useing a pre-set or a custom set of the link structure?

Yes my custom rewrite rules can be found here

I'm still trying to get help on them though, as you can see from the thread I've linked to you above. They're being used for the "links" directory on my site which I've changed to be "vidz"

copy them to note pad or something real quick and then pull them out and save.

i'm wondering if the /vidz rule is causing and issue with hosted-vidz/

Yes, try to remove this CRR:
'vidz/index\.php$' => 'vidz/'

Ok, I've attached the crr's I've used. (see the attached file). I left out the default stuff that was already in there (the stuff that has // in front of each line)

Also, what should I do about the search and replace thing not working for the templates?

Edit: I changed a few things in the crr's per suggestions here and in this thread

The attached file is the updated crr's

The link seems to work correctly now: Hosted Vidz - GamingVidz.com

But now my "links" directory goes to Gaming Videos - Video Database instead of http://www.gamingvidz/vidz/ (then again the first one has a PR of 3 and the second link doesn't have a pr)

Would the only way to fix that problem then is to change the name of the "Hosted Vidz" forum?

You can add it in "Custom Redirects" option instead:
'vidz/index\.php$' => 'vidz/'

But right above in this thread here you said this:

So in the top you told me to remove it but now you're saying to add it back in again? I'm confused.

Custom Redirects is a different field from Custom Rewrite Rules.

"Custom Redirects" option is not the same as CRR, it is located below in vbseocp. It doesn't rewrite the link on-page but redirects it after it is clicked.
