Weird error on new posts

I just installed vbSeo 3.0.0 gold ioncube.

Whenever I go to a "new post" URL,
e.g. http://www.mydomain.com/welcome/1234-hi-new-post.html
I get a message like:

Moved Permanently

The document has moved here.
Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.


Server runs PHP 5.2.1 FastCGI, tried both Ioncube and Zend versions (no difference, same error). The Apache error log has: FastCGI: comm with server "XXXXXXXXXXXX" aborted: error parsing headers: duplicate header 'Status'


This only happens with new-post rewrote urls, everything else seems to work fine. I've been running this forum the last year (without vbSeo mind you) and it hasn't had any issues like this. Any suggestions/ideas?
