vBulletin 4 - Just Upgraded - Where Is VBSEO

    Hope someone can help.

I just upgraded to vBulletin 4 and I have no idea what to do now with VBSEO.

I assumed it would jut carry across and all my hard efforts on VBSEO on vBulletin 3.x would be still there.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I rely heavily on organic traffic.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Jon,

The older versions of vBSEO are not compatible with vB4 you will need to upgrade your installation to vBSEO 3.5 (Currently in RC Stage), all of your settings should carry on with you but if not and assuming you made a backup of your setting before upgrading you can restore the backup at your /vbseocp.php

vBSEO 3.5 is offered free to all active license owners. If your license is expired you just need to renew your license for 35$ .

So you mean for $35 + $27 I can have the upgrade, have it installed and have my old settings and then I need not worry about making any other changes ?

Your license is active. There is no need to renew at this time.

If you would like us to perform the upgrade, then yes, it will cost $27 and can be purchased here:
    https://www.vbseo.com/purchase/buy-vbseo-options.html

Or, you can download Rc2 from the download area and perform the install your self.

OK - So I just want to understand completely - for $27 someone will upgrade me to 3.5 and ensure all settings I had before upgrading to VB4 will be carried across - and then I will not need to do anything technical ?

Correct. Assuming your database is still there and holds our old vbseo settings, the new version will pick them up and 'convert' them to work with vb4/vbseo 3.5.

Did you un-install vbseo before upgrading to vb4? or just disable the product?

Than you will be fine. vbseo 3.5 will re-enable those settings.

Be sure to open a ticket with login info and any "best time to install" notes.
