    vBulletin 4.2 Redirect

    I updated to the latest version of vBulletin 4.2, after install the activity stream was the default home page (set that way by vB), so I wanted to change it back to my CMS/articles.

    I followed vB's directions and in the navigation manager when I made the articles the default, it did not work. As a matter of fact the content.php/articles disappeared altogether.

    They provided a code edit for the index.php file as shown below:

    //define('VB_REDIRECT', true);

    I had to comment out that line.

    They said that the reason it wasn't working via the navigation manager was because of vbSEO. Has anyone else experienced this? I am not familiar enough to figure out what was causing this and would love to be able to restore the code so I can do it via the navigation manager.

    Thanks andres">Andres, I searched the forums for vb 4.2 and didn't find that thread before posting the above, thank you.

    The website appears to be working properly with only the redirect line commented out,

    do I still need to change require('forum.php'); to require ('content.php');

    What does that statement do?

    Is that something for vbSEO to function correctly, or am I probably experiencing an error I just haven't noticed?

    It displays the script it is set to. If you choose content.php, whenever you go to site.com/index.php, you'll see your CMS; but if you choose forum.php, your forums homepage will be displayed instead.

    It needs to be edited if the CMS will be displayed on root domain (i.e site.com/). I just checked your site and your current setup seems to be Ok.
