Post vbseo reduce my server performance!!!
Hi, last month, i don't have installed vbseo and my traffic for December 2006 was 18gb.

This month I have installed vbseo and after 20 days my server traffic is 55GB...!!! :( but the number of visitor is not changed; for which this is a problem of vbseo product.

Let me guess. Do you have the vBShoutbox OR vBChat installed on your forum already? If so, I'd recommend you to remove them ASAP because they are the cause of it.

Also are you counting spider traffic? You could be getting more spiders through the site and thus doing more traffic

I have always had vBShoutbox on My site, and I don't never had problems.

do you have any statistic analysis script running? You could check what causes the most amount of traffic in it.

I have only traffic static, but is not explicied what is the script that cause this traffic.... :(

Then there's your answer. Trust me on this one. You MUST remove the shoutbox because it's the cause of all this. I know because I've been using the shoutbox for many years plus I was even informed about it's high CPU usage by the author himself so yeah.

If you wanna sort this out, then all I can say is to remove the shoutbox once and for all!
