use binary mode for uploading. Don't use automatic selection , explicitly select binary mode in ftp proggy. Should solve it.

    pokeraffiliates,

the 'file is corrupt' message most likely means the problem while uploading the files. Please make sure to upload php files in binary mode. After you've uploaded them check the sizes of files on the server and local files (they should be exactly the same).

Let us know if that helps.

Perhaps there was an error with the package you downloaded?
Try redownloading the files, this happened to me with one of the earlier versions and was soon fixed with a simple re-downloaded. Although make sure you are specifying explicitly Binary mode during upload.

I had this happen too and found my ftp program was defaulting to ASCII on .php files. I had to edit the options for that file type to binary and then it worked.

Perhaps someone should produce a step-by-step guide for leading FTP programs, as to howto explicity state BINARY mode as the upload type?

I'm getting an error that reads:
The encoded file /home/t/talkh/www/vbseo.php is corrupt.
    It driving me nuts!
    I've uploaded in BINARY mode,
I've compared the filesizes on both the local and remote server and they are exactly the same.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
    Cheers

Every instance of that error message we have seen has always been related to not uploading the files in BINARY mode. Mkae sure that you are forcing your FTP client to BINARY, since some don't detect it correctly.

Or, you can open a support ticket with FTP information and we can correct the issue for you.

Also I have noticed in flashfxp that you have to restart the program for the settings to take effect
