Vbseo.php not found when changing forum directory

    Hi,

Currently my forum is installed onto the root folder of my domain. ( www.domain.com ). However I'm setting up a new homepage and thus want to move my forums to www.domain.com/forums .

I updated the Forum URL in the vBulletin Admin Panel and then moved all the files to /forums. In the past that has worked for me.

However when I then try go to domain.com/forums I get a 404 error saying that vbseo.php could not be found. This happens on any file/directory I try to open in /forums ( /admincp, forum.php etc )

I even tried the move again by disabling vbseo and then also disabling all plugins/hooks ( through my config file ) and it still had that same problem

Any idea why this is happening? Is there still settings I need to update before I move the forums?

    Hello ,

Do you have all files moved to forums folder correctly ? And does your .htaccess exits in forums folder ?

All files were moved correctly and .htaccess was in the /forums folder as well.

Make sure you enabled RewriteBase /forums/ on your .htaccess
