vbSEO options

This is a discussion on vbSEO options within the Troubleshooting forums, part of the vBSEO SEO Plugin category; I Installed vbSEO on my forum and everything seems to be fine. (I guess) I can't find any vbSEO settings ...

    vbSEO options

I Installed vbSEO on my forum and everything seems to be fine. (I guess)
I can't find any vbSEO settings in my vB administration panel. The only thing I notice is LinksBacks. Is there supose to be some settings or the only way to change them is thru http://www.yoursite.com/vB-root/vbseocp.php (where - of course- you have to change the link to your actual website)
    Second question:
Do you have to change something in .htaccess file? your domain has to be changed with the acual domain name?
There is nothing in installation instructions.
I'm asking because I notice this two lines in the original upload folder.

    #RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www\.yourdomain\.com
    #RewriteRule (.*) http://www.yourdomain.com/forums/$1 [L,R=301]

    Thank you

That's optional. Those two lines in .htaccess are commented out by default. (The # in front.)

Those lines will redirect anything that is NOT www.yourdomain.com to www.yourdomain.com. For example, if you have multiple domains pointed to your site. For SEO purposes, it's best to have them all 301 redirected to a single domain.
