VBSEO is not working on our website due to CPU problem and loads

Yesterday we've purchased VBSeo for on of the Vbulletin forum's that we own in our network... We think that we've installed it properly since we are working with VB for the last 5 years... But whenever we try to activate the VbSeo plugin our loads jump from 3 to 200 and made the site unaccesible for the users and locks down the dedicated server we think that this is a CPU problem as far as we read on the forums!
Our Websites daily unique hit is 100.000
Our Dedicated Servers Hardware is: 2x Quad Xeon 3.0 (8 Core) cpu, 16 GB Ram 3 x 72 SCSI HDD(RAID5) and OS centos 5.

Please advice us about how to make VBseo work properly under this conditions!
    With our Regards
