    vBSEO Load increase on Servers

I was wondering what kind of loads increases other people (especially if you have a Big Board) have experienced while using vBSEO.

In my initial tests using Apache's ab benchmarking tool, I was noticing an increase of about 30%-50% on server load depending on the URLs I was passing and so on.

Currently we are experiencing load issues on our servers.

As a quick test (not very scientific) I measured the loads on 11 servers used for vBulletin with the vBSEO plugin on. Then 2 more times with it off, and again 2 more time with it back on over about a 1 hour period.

Once again this revealed around a 40% increases in server loads.

(I was not measuring traffic to see if it it there were any changes or DB Load - something I might do next time)

Here is a table of my results.

Are other people having similar results as well? Please let me know.

As well, are there any settings we can change to minimize the load when using vBSEO?

    Thanks,
    Mike

I had about .6 average load before vbseo and about .8 after installation.

So about a 35% increase. Not too far off from what we are seeing. Thanks for the reply. Would love to hear from others as well.

P.S. Thanks for the link. I'll check it out against our config tomorrow.
