vBSEO kills my site SLOWLY!!!

OK i dunno what the problem is.

I enable vbseo RC6 and everything is ok for about 6 - 10 hours, then the site starts going really slow, I then disable it, but it takes the site about 1-3 hours to recover. When the site is slow the server loads are like 0.32 and the memory used is about 45% which is perfectly fine and they are like that when the site is running perfectly.

The site works excellent without the vbseo enabled. Its a very weird problem, i'm not sure whats causing it. basically i have spent a lot of money on this script and i am unable to use it.

What can i do.

Also the test.php script shows i do not have Zend Optimizer installed but i do. I'm using the zend vbseo now, well not right now, but when its enabled.

Any help will be appreciated.

Regards

Michael

Maybe it is because of a small server configuration error. Can you create a support ticket for detailed check please ?

Is the vBSEO copyright in the footer showing (Unregistered) beside it by chance? That would cause it to try to reach vBSEO's license server on every page load.

It will show (Unregistered) if it was unable to reach the license server to retrieve the key. You can open a Support Ticket and ask for you license key if this is the case; and you can enter it manually.

I just checked your site and it seems to be running RC6 fine, and very fast. Are you still seeing a slowdown?

Did you upgrade vBulletin at the same time? And also, what version of vBSEO were you running previously?

vBulletin 3.6.2 has an option per forum to change the sort order, so that may be why you are seeing new threads showing at the bottom. Edit that forum and make sure the sort order is set correctly.

Back up your config_vbseo.php just case. If you uninstall RC6, then install RC5, there shouldn't be a problem.

What version of vBulletin were you running before you upgraded to 3.6.2?
