vBSEO on IIS with ISAPI Rewrite

I know vBSEO works with this setup, but my problem is that I can't seem to get ISAPI Rewrite working properly.

Am I not understanding something here? I installed it, then created a http.ini file with the information in the ISAPI text file from the download. I put this in the root directory of the forum and restarted IIS.

What am I missing? Thanks.

you should not create this file in the forums folder, but modify httpd.ini file that resides in ISAPI_Rewrite installation folder (it should be also accessible directly via "Start" menu).

I have just now tried this as well and the rewritten urls still do not work. I must be doing something else wrong. Do you have any idea what else could be wrong? Thanks again.

Can you get any (non-vBSEO) rewrite rule to work at your host now?
Could you please open a support ticket with RDC access for troubleshooting?
