vBSEO Hacked - Cloaking Cialis Ads

I was told by vBulletin staff that vBSEO has had problems with this. When I deactivated the plugins nothing changed - when I fetch as Googlebot the cloaking still exists.

Here is what vBulletin staff member said:

"Its something to do with their datastore, can you try updating to the newest version of vBSEO? The support staff @ vbseo might be able to give you a fix for the issue as well. I know they have had a few issues like that.

If they're unable to fix the software, let me know and I can take a look, but cannot promise anything."

I'm running vBSEO 3.6 but the issue still exists. Any help remedying this situation would be great.

The issue has nothing to do with vBSEO. The support guy who claims this is a vBSEO issue clearly has no knowledge about anything.

I uninstalled the product and reinstalled it but it did not fix the issue.

haha.. that might be a little harsh considering there is a 20+ page thread detailing very similar issues.

If you're certain it isn't a problem with vbseo how about explaining what the problem is?

Everything about it is in the link i posted above. We already went through this whole thing a year ago. Please read that entire thread.

You should thank vBSEO Staff as similar to other people who participated in that thread as our only aim was to help people who were facing the issue. Several people have already confirmed the issue has nothing to do with vBSEO.
