vBSEO Folder and Contents to upload...

    ... Hi all,

I have just run a Diagnostics -> Suspect File Versions on my forum and it has come up with the following:

    ./includes/cron

    vbseo_serviceupdate.php File not found

    ./vbseo/includes

functions_vbseo_ui.php File not recognized as part of vBulletin
functions_vbseo_ui_profile.php File not recognized as part of vBulletin
functions_vbseocp_abstract.php File does not contain expected contents
    md5_sums_crawlability_vbseo.php File not found
vbseo_serviceupdate.php File not recognized as part of vBulletin

    ./vbseo/resources/xml

    .htaccess File not found
config.xml File does not contain expected contents
vbseo_urls_007.xml File not recognized as part of vBulletin
vbseocp_romanian.xml File not recognized as part of vBulletin
vbseocp_russian_utf-8.xml File not recognized as part of vBulletin
vbseocp_turkce_utf-8.xml File not recognized as part of vBulletin

    ./vbseo_sitemap
extra-urls.txt File does not contain expected contents
index.php File does not contain expected contents
    sitemap.xsl File not found
vbseo_sitemap_functions.php File does not contain expected contents
What concerns me is the "File not found" entries. I ave only installed the 3.6.0 Gold version, and looking at the folder I downloaded, the contents don't match up to those above anyway. For example: The "md5_sums_crawlability_vbseo.php" is NOT in the "vbseo/includes" folder, but rather, it's in the "Upload/includes" folder, right under the XML folder.

What do I need to do please? Do I need to move all the "File not found" ones and relocate them where the diagnostic has the paths for them?

    Many thanks.

Hello, this is a known issue. 3.6 was released with a bad checkfile sum. This is slated to be fixed in the next major release.

    Thanks Brian,

I meant to report this a long time ago, but never got around to it. (it was only while cheeking for the issue with the "vBSEO Security Bulletin" - that I remembered.

Is there an ETA of the next Major release, please?

    Many thanks.

    Ah; Ok, Brian.

Would you agree that I should relocate them to where the "vB Diagnostics" is saying that they should be found/located, manually?

    Many thanks.

No, the files are in the right place. The xml telling them they are in the wrong spot is what is wrong.
