Update:
I disabled my adsense plugin for the archive, still no archive.
I overwrote the post-vbseo install .htaccess file in the forums root folder with the original one I downloaded with vbseo in case i messed up some settings or disabling it did not reset the .htaccess file, still no archive.
I replaced the .htaccess with the original .htaccess file that I originally overwrote with the very first .htaccess file for vbseo and that worked. My archive works again.
Anybody possibly know why this is the case?
Last settings saved in vbseo were to leave the default vbulletin archive settings in place.
Hello ,

Mert,
I disabled vbseo first in the vbseo control panel and then the vbulletin control panel.
My vbseo archive detting was to leave the default vbulletin archive settings in place.
If someone can help explain why this might be, I would greatly appreciate it.
Hi sfnet,
If I read correctly, your archive links were redirecting to Forum Home when you disabled vBSEO but left the .htaccess in place. Correct?
If that is the case, the redirect is caused by the vBSEO .htaccess file. To disable vBSEO completely, you need to turn it off, disable the Product in AdminCP and remove the .htaccess.
