    vBSEO + AdSense not working

So, I've noticed that when I enable vBSEO on my site which rewrites URLs from:

    http://domain.com/forum/showthread.php?...

    to

    http://domain.com/forum/f12/<thread>

all the embedded AdSense ads stop working in the thread/forum.

If I turn off vBSEO and use the old URLs, everything works fine, or if I go direct to the old http://domain.com/forum/forumdisplay.php, etc, it works fine.

This is on a site that has had vBSEO running several months or so with plenty of time for Google to spider the new format URLs.

Any ideas or things to debug?

vBSEO should have no effect on ads displaying on your site.

I jsut checked your site and i do see a 728 leader board above the main table. It might just be your cookies from adsense alone.

Try a browser you never use so you have no session/cookies with adsense.

    If you go to

    DCSportbikes.net - Powered by vBulletin

There should be an ad displayed above the forum list.

Same if you go into any forum such as:

DC, MD, VA Sportbike Chat - DCSportbikes.net

However, it works fine if you go to:

    DCSportbikes.net - Search Results

    Hi Rob,

Do you have any of the "Virtual HTML Display" or "Cleanup HTML Code" functions enabled?. If so, does the issue still occur when you disable them?.

If still happens, then I advise you to upgrade your vBSEO instance to vBSEO 3.6.0 gold as a first troubleshooting step. RC versions may contain bugs like this one.

I'm still not seeing it. I've tried 3 different computers and 3 different browsers.

Are you saying you go to:

    DCSportbikes.net - Powered by vBulletin

and see an ad above the forum list?

    Or into a thread, eg:

Start Your Cyber Monday With Me Honda Parting Out - DCSportbikes.net

    and see a google ad?

Keep in mind the static banner ads are not what I'm talking about (the ads for the local shops). What I'm talking about is directly above the forum list, below the "Currently Active Users" block.

I have disabled Virtual HTML display, cleanup HTML code is disabled.

I just upgraded to the latest gold version as well.

    Any other ideas?

The code is there and is displayed correctly. Adsense just isn't filling it. This is not something we can answer--- it's a question for google.

I suppose, but it is very odd that it works 100% fine when I turn off vbSEO, but ceases functioning when I enable it.

Hope they don't respond back with a "it's vbSEO's issue, not ours", otherwise I'm boned.
