vBSEO 3.3.0PR2 & ISAPI Re-Write Rules

Just got the chance to D/L the latest and greatest but noticed you only include ISAPI 1 & 2 Any reason 3 is not included?

I explored the same. But i think that the digit behind the filename does not show the version, it shows the amount of forums which you can run.

But i am not sure. Still figureing it out, but i cant get it to work. Using IIS6, latest vbseo 3.3 and latest isapi rewrite3 version.

It wont work.

P.S. I tried this test-method, and it works wonderful. But in my forum I just get a white index.php-file without content. may this be a bug of vbseo?

isapi_rewrite.txt is the correct rules for ISAPI 3

Dennis , can you please create a support ticket so we can check the possible problems.

I don't know if anything changed with the new version you are testing, but, with 3.2.0 on IIS6 and IIS7 the .htaccess for Apache is the one I use and everything works.

Maybe I should request the download to test it out on one of my Windows servers.

I would create a ticket, but the problem is the w2003 server is only accessable via RemoteDesktop and do not allow me currently to view anything else via browser.

I have reinstalled the PHP-Component, but this shouldn´t be the problem. Currently I am using vbSeo 3.3 but i will downgrade after this post.

I will post all Actions I done, maybe someone sees my fault:

(but will leave out php / mysql configuration)

1. Downloaded all current files from my domain (entwicklergemein.de)
2. Saved the Database via phpmyAdmin
3. Uploaded all files to my new host
4. imported the dumped Database
5. deleted the .htacces file
6. Edited the sample you´re given on your htaccess-Folder within the 3.3 Release (attached both version -> linux and windows config at the end of the post)
7. edited the URL of my host in the vbulletin acp (instead of entwicklergemein.de -> localhost)
8. restarted iis
9. but there is no site to see

I checked out, that the showthread, blogs and index.php are a blank site. They are containing a spacebar, i.e. " ". The search.php example seems work fine, but whithout header, footer and so on.

I will now save my settings and delete vbseo, and install vb seo again. lets hope this may fix the problem.

vBSEO Licenses are tied to domain name only and if you want to test vBSEO , you must request a test license within a support ticket.

Do you mean that i need to reconfigurate the domain in my client-manager to make it work?

No ,

You stated that you updated your forum url to localhost. vBSEO licenses are tied to domain name. If your license is for domain.com vBSEO will not function in another domain name. Thats why if you have a testing instance , you can create a support ticket and request a test license.
