    vb 3.5.1 broke my site

    Hello,

I recently upgraded from 3.5.0 (i think) to 3.5.1 of vbulletin and it has broken my vbseo stuff.

if you go to www.domainhabit.com then the category links just go to domainhabit.com and the post links are using the old showthread urls although still actually just go to www.domainhabit.com

in the vb admin area it says "There are currently 5 customized template(s) that need to be updated or reverted."

    these are:

    forumhome_forumbit_level1_post
    forumhome_forumbit_level2_post
    headinclude
    navbar
    FORUMHOME

thanks for any help or advice. It says I can revert those templates, but wanted to see what you guys suggest first incase I make things worse.

I'd suggest upgrading to vbSEO 2.2.2 as a first step. There have been quite a few bug fixes since 2.2.0.

Do you have any custom rewrite rules defined? You could try removing those.

I have, and I tried taking them off and it still had a problem.

I think it is to do with those 5 templates.

Yeah, that's entirely possible. Copy the contents of FORUMHOME and the forum bits out to a text file so you'll have a backup, then revert them to see.

perhaps not, reverted them all one by one and and no stage did it go back to normal.

Interesting. I noticed that even the links to the member info (hover over the last poster name) are also incomplete links.

Guess this is one for Juan or Oleg. Sorry. :(

Yes its strange if I turn off "Rewrite Forum URLs" the links work again.

And the members pages work, just not on the links from homepage e.g. "by...."

How do I ask Juan or Oleg?

You can PM them if you want, but I'm sure they'll see this soon. They're usually very responsive.
