Users getting logged out

This is a discussion on Users getting logged out within the Troubleshooting forums, part of the vBSEO SEO Plugin category; I had the user try it, but the problem is still there....

My forum is contain in the forum directory, so i need to change from / to /forum/ and nothing else, is that correct?

You should not change it, keep it defined as "/".

Path to Save Cookies is /
Cookie Domain was (Blank) , I have changed to the .mysiteurl.com
So that should be fine? or do i need to do any other settings?

You should also setup redirection from non-www domain to www domain as described in 301 Redirecting Domains

I also had this problem and found out the .domain.ext was the problem. maybe this should be mentioned during setup? i spent countless hours and lost many posts due to this simple problem. thanks....

I tried adding that to my site yesterday, but when I tried opening the forum today, I had to log in again. Maybe it's because I had logged in prior to setting that code. I'll wait and see for a few more days. It's really strange. I have two vBSEO'd forums both using 3.2 gold and vB 3.7.2 PL1 and one of them has all kinds of problems keeping people logged in and the other doesn't. Aggravating...

After you set it, you should delete your cookies, and then load the page again and login. It should take care of your problem.
