Question User with special characters in Nickname?
Hello,

we have a user with special chars in her nickname: *Cat*.

Problem is that neither she nor we can set an avatar for her, the old one got lost after the installation of vBSEO and only shows up correctly in the ACP - not in the forums.

What is going wrong here?

Can you move them to filesystem and give a try , it is also better to keep avatars on filesystem instead of database ( same as attachments )

Try turning off the vBSEO option to rewrite custom avatars.

we moved avatars to the filesystem and now everything shows up correctly
