    URL wrong for newly-created forum

    I'm running vBSEO 3.1.0 on Windows, using isapi_rewrite.

    When I create a new forum, the resulting URL is incorrect. Instead of domain.com/forum/path/forum_name, the result is domain.com/forum_name. URLs for threads added to the forum -- for example, by using an RSS feed, are also incorrect.

    In a related issue, when I rename an existing forum, the associated URL doesn't seem to change. The result is that when the old URL is accessed, the page is not found.

    I tried rebuilding forum counters, etc, but that had no effect.

    Hi Ace,

    In config_vbseo.php, you may need to define your docroot path in the relevant section.

    If you can't find it, just submit a report ticket with ftp information and we will get it sorted.

    Do you mean this field?

    PHP Code:
    define('VBSEO_CUSTOM_DOCROOT''');
    Sorry, my site doesn't have easy FTP access.

    Is this docroot supposed to be set to the absolute path where the vBulletin files are installed? If so, IIS restricts App Pool access permissions to files and folders in the particular virtual directory. Access to an absolute path should fail, so I'm confused.

    Also, can you tell me if it makes sense that with it set as it is, that everything else is working already, including correct forum URLs, correct thread URLs, new thread and post URLs getting created correctly, etc, for all forums that existed at the time that vBSEO was installed?

    EDIT: sorry, I just realized that I posted this in the wrong area. This issue has to do with vBSEO, not with the sitemap plug-in.

    I'll move the post..

    Yes, that's the relevant section.

    As for why this is happening, I will have to defer to Oleg.. I am presuming it has something to do with the way the information is stored.
