    URL issue

My site is having an issue with the mail URL.

Members who are visiting the forum with the http://www.site.com are okay.

Members who are using the http://site.com are not able to stay logged in, or even log in.

All the settings say Im fine and its re-directing, but it isnt.

    Thanks.

Make sure you set the cookie domain name to .yourdomain.com in your vBulletin Options.

That is not the place. Open you vBulletin Options, and view all and find: cookie domain

-We did this because another thread was talking about the exact same issue.

It's under vBulletin Options -> Cookies and HTTP Header Options -> Cookie Domain and you can enter a custom cookie domain.

However, I think another solution you might consider is this:

vBulletin Options -> Site Name / URL / Contact Details

and check what you have as your forum URL.

If it's with www (which is what it looks like) you should put these lines in your .htaccess file

    Code:
    RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www\.example\.com
    RewriteRule (.*) http://www.example.com/$1 [R=301,L]
and change "example.com" to your site name.

It'll just permanently redirect all http://site.com to http://www.site.com and everyone will be able to log in correctly.

Try clearing your cookies before you try to login again. I was having this kind of problem myself a couple months ago and most of the time clearing my cache or cookies solved login problems.

Be sure your htaccess matches your vboption for domain settings, with the www or without. If they mix-match, you end up in an endless loop.
