    URGENT: Upgrade error

Was running version 2.4.0 so I followed the upgrade instructions and uploaded the files for the latest version etc.

Now when I try and access my forum or the control panel to re install the saved xml file I see this error:

The encoded file /home/techtro/public_html/vbseo.php is corrupt.

All the files was uploaded in binary.

Should I have upgraded a version at a time and not jump straigh into the latest version?

    Regards,

    Brian

Can you reupload all the files again just to make sure that the files have been uploaded correctly.

You can upgrade from 2.4.x to 3.0.0 Rc6 directly.

Force your FTP client to use BINARY mode when uploading. That error is caused by uploading in ASCII mode.

Ok, I uploaded all vBSEO files in BINARY mode and everything seems to be fine now. Let us know if you run into any other issues.
