Upgrading from rc3 to rc6
Just looking at the .htaccess file differences and in the rc6 version it has on lines 13 & 14

#RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www\.yourdomain\.com
#RewriteRule (.*) http://www.yourdomain.com/forums/$1 [L,R=301]
Now the silly question Do I alter those lines to reflect my actual site name and the correct forum directory, or just upload and overwrite the old one?

Sorry if its a dumb question but I really don't understand re-write rules at all and the instructions for upgrade are a little vague

Those lines are commented out, and just there as an example. If you want to use them, replace with your actual domain name and uncomment those lines by removing the # in front.

Those rules force your URLs to always be www.yourdomain.com and not yourdomain.com.
