    Question Unsupported characters in member name

    Hello,

    I have a member that have register with the name "...", when we try to get the profile from them on it goes to www.domain.com/forum/member// so it backs to forum homepage.

    How do I correct this without asking to my member to change his name?

    Thank you in advance

    Information here: Links to member profile pages: Rewrite problems with special chars

    Though, on a personal level, I'd have to say that ... is a very poor username.

    And you changed this:

    define('VBSEO_REWRITE_MEMBER_MORECHARS', 0);

    To this:

    define('VBSEO_REWRITE_MEMBER_MORECHARS', 1);

    In your config_vbseo.php?

    No, you shouldn't need to. Did you try adding the userid to the member profile URL format? (the other option in the thread I linked)

    Hello,

    No I didn't. I would like to put it like that to be more simple to users, but if you consider is the best way...Is any other change to show the profile without showing the error?

    You can also try to change member profile URL format to:
    members/[user_name].html
