    Unregistered and expired problem [rant]

    Hello,

I am receiving the error [ This copy of vBSEO is unregistered and expired ] whenever I try to access my site, admin or vbseocp.php file. The web site I am working on is in development on a machine in my office. This machine has a (somewhat) dynamic IP address and is not associated by DNS w/ the final (registered and licensed) domain.

I am probably violating the license agreeement in what I'm doing but in my mind it is unrealistic to restrict vbseo to only one site. What options does this offer to a responsible developer?

I would like to get this problem fixed ASAP. Primarily, I would like to be able to continue developing w/ vBSEO installed. Otherwise I require instructions on the removal of vBSEO w/o access to the admin or any other utilities that would usually aid me in the completion of this task since I cannot even log into the admin to remove it.

To completely take a site offline for a license infraction seems absurd. Disable the vBSEO elements, absolutely...

    Thannk-you

vBSEO shouldn't affect your AdminCP at all... You should be able to log into it and disable the product if you wish. Or try going directly to the vbseocp.php and turning it off there.

I don't know why it disabled my admin but it did. I disabled vBSEO in the config and have the site back. I would like to keep using vBSEO. How can I update my license to work w/ my development environment?

Open a Support Ticket and let them know the URL to your development site so they can add it to the database.

Done. Yet I am still unable to load vBSEO. My guess is now the license number is not present since it's not in the config_vbseo.php file. Where can I find my license number?
