Two problems with VBSEO

VBSEO was installed two days ago and we are experiencing two problems. For the record, we are using vBulletin 3.7.3

1. From the advanced posting screen, when you click "preview post", you are taken back to the posting screen (i.e. no preview appears). This happens on every thread that I tested it on and with multiple browsers.

2. When a member posts, they are directed to the top of the page rather than to the post itself. This only happens when a member is using IE. We have researched other suggested solutions to this problem but it appears that the our files have already had the "fixes" applied.

Please try to modify functions_vbseo_hook.php file:
FIND:

PHP Code:

  $excpars = array('p','page');

REPLACE WITH:

PHP Code:

  $excpars = array('p','page', 'posted');

I tried that earlier Oleg but when I modified the code and refreshed the forums, all I got was a blank page. I tried once more and got the same result.

It means that modification was applied incorrectly, try to modify the file from vBSEO source package and upload it.

Ok, I tried that and got the same result. I don't know why but is rendering a blank page but with the correct URL if I replace that code and upload the functions_vbseo_hook.php file to the includes folder.

You guys installed the modification. Can you have someone fix it?

Disregard. I cut and pasted the code above and it has a space between excpars and the = sign and between the = sign and array -- at least, that's the way my browser is rendering it.

I fixed it. Thanks.

That took care of second problem but not the first. Any suggestions?

Does it work correctly with vBSEO disabled? If yes, please open a ticket with ftp/admincp access for troubleshooting.

Yes, it works correctly when I disable vBSEO.

Did you find the solution for non working preview? Or I must also open a ticket?

By me the preview at newthread and newreply returning the same page without preview?

Please try to modify your functions_vbseo_hook.php file, replacing this line:

    vbseo_prepend_template('newpost_preview', '".(($previewmessage = vbseo_process_content_area($previewmessage)) ? "":"")."');

with:

    vbseo_prepend_template('newpost_preview', '".((${previewmessage} = vbseo_process_content_area(${previewmessage})) ? "":"")."');

I discovered an issue with "Preview Post" on one of my sites, not sure how long it was an issue but I implemented both php code changes and things appear to be resolved.
