Two of my users profiles urls ending with a trailing /a/

For some reason, two of my users cannot be accessed through any links. They can only be accessed directly by typing their name in the address bar, manually.

This is what their profile looks like:

    Code:
    http://www.mafia-mp.com/forums/members/a/
    Thank you.

Some of their usernames: Vladik, Blurredman, Hova

    Two other issues:

    - No DHTML PopUp when clicking a username in Postbit
    - Posticon URL

I have tried to use the .html setup, and it worked. However, another issue occurred. I cannot display the DHTML pop-up in the postbit when I click the user's name.

    EDIT

I actually still have that /a/ issue...

    Hello Leo ,

Changing url rewrite options constantly will only harm your site. You must choose a setting and keep that setting without changing it.

For usernames , if you allow your users to use chanracters like * , . - ? ( ) you should add userid to member url rewrite settings.

I have just installed vBSEO and my users do not use special characters.

I have another issue, the default post icon just shows as "Default". I have moved my forums to /forums/ instead of forum.mafia-mp.com but the url for the icon shows as: http://forum.mafia-mp.com/images/icons/icon1.gif

However, in Post Icons in the AdminCP, I have changed the posticon url to http://www.mafia-mp.com/images/icons/icon1.gif.

I have cleared my cookies, cache, history, etcera and executed all the Maintenance Tools in vBulletin. no luck.

In summary, I have three issues:

Trailing /a/ in certain profile urls
No DHTML Pop-Up when clicking on a username in the postbit
    Posticon issue

You must manually edit your icons and update their path. admincp/image.php?do=edit&table=icon&id=1&pp=20&page=1&ima gecategoryid=2

For the post icons go into your AdminCP->Post Icons (On left hand side)->Post Icon Manager and update the URLs

To see what I mean with the /a/

Actually, no menu which uses the DHTML technology is working!

I have just tried the user_id.html suggestion, and it worked. However, I am concerned on how it could work if my users do not use special characters.

For example, Vladik, Hova, Rainman, are all ASCII characters. I have set up a custom rule for the member profile:

    [user_name]-[user_id]

However, both DHTML and the posticon issues persist.

Unbelievable, I have created a new template and everything is working. I can't believe what is wrong, though! Before vBSEO, everything was working fine.

Whatever, I am sorry for my arrogance and hopefully you guys can forgive me.

That would mean that the dhtml problem is your style. Are all of the templates updated? Also the extra css at the bottom of Main CSS

Even though the issue is fixed, I would like to say that I have applied every single customization from my old template to the new one, and DHTML and all the other issues that popped up with the old template are not happening with the new one, strangely.
