Trying to redirect to www.mysite.com/forum

Need to redirect fron mysite.com/forum to www.mysite.com/forum. I have 3 different forums, and only one with vBSEO. The site with vBSEO does not work correctly. I am sure it is an error in my set up.

I have 2 .htaccess files.

My issue is, when I type mysite.com I am not redirected to www.mysite.com and when I type mysite.com/forum I am not redirected to www.mysite.com/forum

I need assistance in diagnosing why my redirect is not functioning properly. I am sure I have made an error in one of the .htaccess files.

Perhaps I have vBSEO set up wrong?

You should change this in forum/.htaccess:

#RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www\.yourdomain\.com
#RewriteRule (.*) http://www.yourdomain.com/forums/$1 [L,R=301]

to:

RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www\.stangmafia\.com
RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} forum/
RewriteRule (.*) http://www.stangmafia.com/forum/$1 [R=301,L]
