Trouble staying logged in...

OK - I posted on vB.com & vB.org the following thread - and basically I've been told that this issue is most likely related to vBSEO. Please help.

OK - I actually have filed a support ticket at vbulletin.com - Thus far I been told to get rid of all modifications INCLUDING VBSEO.... (the vBSEO aspect of the party line has been stated more than twice...) Um.. So.... the issue is with staying logged in to JPiC (Poetry in Color Forum) since upgrading from 3.6.8 PL2 to 3.7.2 PL1 -- My install has a fresh new skin with all updated templates. Cookies are set as they have been since I 1st installed.

After about an hour or so of logging in - seems that I'm timed out... Regardless of whether I'm active on the board or considered "idle" LOL

Has anyone here experienced such an issue? Does anyone know of a possible resolution to the issue that I and so many others have experienced? Please someone say "Yes, same thing with me. But I found a fix........."

make sure your htaccess file matches your vb settings in terms of www or non-www.

if you have http://yoursite.com in the vB settings, you need to use a rule in htacess to keep everyone on NON www. and vice versa.

what are your settings in these 2 elements?

• www.jpicforum.info/index.php

Rewrite conditional in .htaccess:

(hope the syntax is correct for reaching non-www only)
