Question Trouble newtread.php

Hi everybody,

Last night finished my installation which seems works perfectly but, I'm testing the forums right now and it seems like the preliminary view works just fine with the new thread but, when I click on the post message button, it tries to open a file named: newthread.php

I followed the instructions step by step what am I missing?

Jesus

PS
I made a small change on the .htaccess file as I'm not using admincp and modcp as my default directories. My directories are: adminpanel and modpanel.

I really hope that doesnt affect the system at all.

Update... the thread it is posted but i'm still getting the save file when I press the Submit thread button. I'm on firefox and macintosh (OS X).

If you put the default .htaccess file back does the problem go away?

If you disable vBSEO (first option in the vBSEO Control Panel) does the problem go away?

Thanks

Don't remove the .htaccess, try putting the default (unmodified) .htaccess that comes with vBSEO. That will rule out the changes you made to your .htaccess.

Hello Keith,

Same issue with the original .htaccess file

As firefox just updated to a new version, now im getting a white page after my post.

However the post its in there, it just doesnt work once I write the new thread.

Now, I just test it on IE7 and I got not a white page, it is an error page, cant show the page. As I say the post its in there, but once I click the submit button it do post the thread even as I got the error message I mention.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Jesus

Checking the logs it says....

0: [client 189.157.115.63] PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 46080 bytes) in /home/mundoreg/mundoregio.com/html/foros/includes/class_dm_user.php on line 1276, referer: Foros de Monterrey en Internet por Mundoregio.com

it might be on the server side ... as Im checking the log and for what im seeing, any help on this will be great.

Thanks,

Jesus

Increase your PHP memory_limit setting to 32megs. 8megs is very low. (You may have to ask your host to make the change for you.)
